Fees and Prices

Fees and prices are subject to change without notice. Price at time of booking applies.

All classes must be prepaid. No admittance will be allowed unless the course fee has been paid in full. If you wish to pay in cash or over the counter at the bank, please email us for details.

Training Class Attendance

Unlike other training schools / classes, we run a full course and not a random attendance course. For optimum results you are required to attend weekly and complete the course and practice the exercises you have been shown, conscientiously throughout the week and perfect them.

Liverpool Dog Training Club reserve the right of attendance on our courses. Dog Aggressive and/or Human aggressive dogs are not suitable for class situations. If you have any concerns in this regard you should contact us to discuss the options available. If you attend a course and we subsequently deem your dog to be unsuitable for a class situation beacuse of aggression or other behavioural issues a full refund will not be provided.

If in our opinion we do not feel that you or your dog is ready to be assessed by a Kennel Club Representative we shall inform you of this before the assessment is due to take place. No refunds, either partial or in kind will be offered. The course fees cover the amount of training (in weeks) that it takes a dedicated handler and dog to be ready for assessment, and this takes into account that a handler will spend a minimum of 45 minutes each day training their dog outside of our classes.

Female dogs in season / heat cannot attend classes under any circumstances. (Note: A season lasts 3 weeks)

Dogs and Puppies must be fully vaccinated. Your vet will advise when your puppy's vaccinations are complete. If you are unsure about vaccinations please consult your vet directly. This is for the safety of your dog and puppy and therefore no exceptions can be made. It is your responsibility to vaccinate your dog or puppy

Training Class / Premises Rules

All dogs must remain on lead within the premises unless specifically instructed by the dog trainer. Specific breeds such as greyhounds must have the proper collar so as to cause no discomfort to the dog and to prevent escape

You must NEVER hit, kick or otherwise abuse your dog. If you do, you may be asked to leave and the RSPCA informed of any such behaviour witnessed.

You must clean up any ‘accidents’ (poo, wee, vomit) produced by your dog and take the poo bags home where they can be disposed of in your wheelie bin or other council provided facilities. Poo bags must NOT be left outside the training venue.

Liverpool Dog Training Club takes all reasonable precautions within the structure of our classes and on our premises to avoid injury resulting from dog bites. However, Liverpool Dog Training Club accepts no responsibility for damage or injury resulting from dog bites occurring to clients or their dogs while on the premises. The Control of Dogs Act 1986 section 21 - "Liability of owner for damage by Dog" applies within our classes and on our premises

All instances of accident or injury must be reported to the dog trainer at the time they occurred, in the class they occurred in. Subsequent reports of accidents will not be entertained

The following items are NOT PERMITTED in Liverpool Dog Training Club Classes under any circumstances: Choker chains and shock collars, including citronella; Shock devices or any other device that causes discomfort, pain or fear to the dog; Prong or pinch collars; Any equipment that the trainer deems unacceptable

Changes to Advertised Times & Locations

From time to time we may need to change the time of an entire or part of a training class, behaviour consult, seminar or puppy class. This can be due to weather or other external forces. We reserve the right to do so, we will endeavour to notify you of any required changes.

We reserve the right to change the location of a seminar or workshop, consultation, 1-2-1 venue. Refunds and Cancellations

Because we run a strict trainer:dog ratio any cancellations must be notified 14 DAYS BEFORE the course starts. There are no exceptions. We will not transfer or defer your place to another course. Any adult handler can attend with your dog. Failure to notify us of a cancellation within this time frame will result in no refund / part refund and you will have to book a new course at full price

Course and 1-2-1 session fees are payable in advance of your course and are
a) Non-Transferrable – You cannot decide to stop coming to training and then use any ‘unused weeks’ at a later date, on a different course or ‘gift’ the unused training to another handler or dog; and
b) Non-Refundable – We will not refund any weeks or training sessions that you missed for any reason other than a fault of our own (such as unexpected closure of the training venue, illness and a substitute trainer cannot be sourced).

There will be no refund (or partial refunds) if you fail to attend a course/seminar/1-2-1 session which is fully paid for.

Failure to attend a course/seminar/1-2-1 session that you have booked a place on, but not yet paid for, will result in a request for full payment, which you agree to be liable for.

There will be no refund for cancellations due to bitches in season/heat, unless we are notified 14 days in advance of the course commencing.  It is your responsibility to have your dog spayed or neutered.

There will be no refunds (or partial refunds) if the handler, or your dog, becomes ill and unable to attend, unless we are notified 14 days in advance of the course commencing.

There will be no refund for cancellations due to lack of vaccination or no vaccination card, unless we are notified 14 days in advance of the course commencing. We specify the vaccination period clearly in the course information. It is your responsibility to have your dog fully vaccinated and health warranted.

There will be no refund if you attend a course and we (or you) subsequently deem your dog to be unsuitable for a class situation because of aggression to other dogs or humans, excessive barking or other behavioural issues.

There will be no partial refunds for missed classes.

Requests for cancellation and rebooking of 1-2-1 sessions must be made with the 1-2-1 behaviourist with at least 48 hours notice, or more where possible.

All other cancellation and refund requests are at the discretion of the Liverpool Dog Training Club Secretary and dependent on individual circumstances.

Any credit card or service fees that we incur are non-refundable.

Any partial or discretionary refund is subject to a £25.00 admin service charge, which is non-refundable.

In no event will this limitation apply to the amounts due for services under the agreement.
